Based on my experience of gunshot wounds. I'd hazard a guess that one in the head would defeat the stabbie - no sweat!

There is talk of us ambulance folk getting these and this is an obvious flaw!
Ok, I have been out of the UK for some time now so might be a little ignorant but I am wondering why Delia Smith now needs a stab vest?
The only contact I have had with stab vests was the one a bouncer wore, at the pub where I was a part time barmaid. Once, as a joke, he slipped the vest over my head. I am pretty study but the sheer weight of it sent me to the floor. Surely they are too restrictive in a job which requires you to be mobile?
